A huge congratulations to our BMW Group + QUT Design Academy Semester 1, 2025 interns! 🎉

We’re proud to celebrate the achievements of Emily Bell, Kristan Lacey, Ella Hore, and Kyran Dippel, who absolutely excelled in their advanced 3D visualisation and rendering internship project. Over the semester, this talented group took on a major challenge, diving deep into Blender to master complex modelling, rendering, scene design, lighting, and video production among other skillsets.

The students conducted two projects; project 1 focused on building core software skills while project 2 pushed them further creating highly detailed models with custom materials, surface finishes, lighting setups, and final renders/videos that speak for themselves.

The final outcomes were truly impressive! Scroll through some of the final submissions and see for yourself—these students not only met the brief, they surpassed it.
