A huge congratulations to our BMW Group + QUT Design Academy Semester 1, 2026 cohort! 🎉

We’re proud to celebrate the achievements of Yu-Hsing (Angel) Cheng, Sam Detaille, Michelle Fortune, Bronte Grayson, Shriya Hoskere, Zac McLay, Sasha Petrenko, Riley Van Niekerk, and Raymond Lik Mun Chin, who delivered an outstanding range of projects across Industrial Design, Visual Communication, and Interaction Design.

Over the semester, this talented group engaged with a series of industry-focused briefs, exploring innovative and creative outcomes - from interactive engagement tools designed to inspire future QUT students, to bespoke BMW M8 air fresheners, and beautifully crafted magazine designs that capture and communicate the story of the Academy.

The breadth and quality of the work has been exceptional, showcasing not only strong technical and creative capabilities, but also professionalism, collaboration, and a clear ability to respond to real-world design challenges.d
