Launch of the QUT Industry Training Hub for Future Transport and Mobility

2024, March

Honoured to attend the launch of the QUT (Queensland University of Technology) Industry Training Hub for Future Transport and Mobility.

Our founder, Rafael Gomez, helped launch this fantastic initiative led by Ronald Schroeter on Friday at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). It was terrific to hear from Margaret Sheil AO, QUT Vice-Chancellor and President, and Graham Fraine, Director General for Department for State Development and Infrastructure, for the opening remarks and insight into the industry.

The QUT Industry Training Hub for Mobility and Transport is a collaborative initiative that brings together researchers from various faculties at QUT to build future capacity and generate momentum in the field of mobility and transport. By leveraging the collective expertise of researchers and industry partners, the hub aims to have a significant impact on the mobility and transport sector. This will help prepare Brisbane and Queensland for the challenges that the Olympic Games will bring and ensure that the community and environment benefit from the infrastructure, transport modes, vehicles, services, technologies, expertise, and skillsets for a long time to come.

Also, thank you again, Epi, for making the beautiful visuals seen on the day!

It was great to be part of this launch, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for this initiative!
