Congratulations to David Quick!

Please congratulate David Quick, who has recently started a full-time position with BMW in the UK!

David was in our first-ever group of Academy Design Interns in 2020, and in 2023 was working in the UK at BMW Plant Hams Hall as a Design Intern after graduating from QUT Industrial Design. He worked on innovation and digitization projects for the Production Systems department, such as Digital Twin development and support on our 2023 Future Vision Animation.

David has now landed a job as a Customs Analyst with the UK Customs and Tax department for BMW Group in Oxford. In this role, he is responsible for process design and innovation for importing and exporting components and cars - a crucial function in the current climate of uncertainty caused by Brexit.

We are incredibly proud of his achievements and wish him all the very best in his future at BMW. David is now the second person from QUT (behind Dylan Sheppard) who has secured full-time employment overseas with BMW Group, following a design internship. Congratulations again David!
